Thursday

great to be eight

so clear back the end of april tacey turned 8 and then baptized just a few days later! tacey is amazing.  i honestly wanted her to make up her on mind on getting baptized and becoming a member of the church.  rhett and i have had quite a few deep discussions with her about it.  i'm so proud and kind of ashamed to say that my little 8 year old knows so much more about the church than i do.  it's incredible.  i'm so proud tacey made the choice to get baptized.

warning: my pictures downloaded weird and are out of order.

i took tacey dress shopping for the perfect baptism dress.  we even took a vote over the phone with my mom and sisters.  they were all so dang cute it was hard to choose just one!

toni is amazing and took tacey's pictures for us.  i'm so happy with how they turned out.

we had so many people travel to come support tacey.  i'm so grateful for all our amazing family.

tacey woke up to her first american doll on her birthday.  she has literally been asking for years.   she was so happy and excited to finally have one!

we've made it into a tradition to go visit the birthday girl at school on her birthday.  rhett was even able to make it this year.

on our way into the church for the baptism. i need to get pictures from the rest of the family from the baptism, this is all i took!

sleeping/talking riggins

i live in a house full of sleep walkers and talkers.  i've always been curious if babies talk in their sleep even though they have a limited vocab.  well the other night as i was watching my sweet baby sleep he suddenly started saying 'paw-paw.' which in riggins language translates into puppy, or actually any animal he sees.  it was seriously the cutest thing i have ever heard.  only wish i could see what he was dreaming...
sleeping children are the BEST.
