http://spirituallythinking.blogspot.com/
i really really love this website that i found on pinterest. it seriously makes visiting teaching a little bit easier.
these handouts took me about five minutes!
thought i would share, maybe it can make visiting teaching a bit easier for someone else too(:

Birthday Boy

Rhett turned 29 on Sunday!!
it was a fun day.
we had some family over and enjoyed some salmon and cake.

i finally got him to smile in a picture!! not sure what tazer bug is doin though(:

we had ice cream cake and cheese cake.

and of course daddy's special helpers blew out the candles with him!

i am so so grateful for my rhett. he is honestly the best person i know. i am so happy he is the daddy to my little girls. we are the luckiest girls i know. i love rhett's compassion and charity that he is constantly showing to others. he is the main person i look up to. what an amazing example we have in our home.

happy birthday babe!
you are amazing.

Monday

how was your easter??

OUR WAS GREAT!
i am not going to lie, i had an awful, awful week leading up to easter. lots of stress coming at me from every corner along with some scary news from back home. i have not been doing real great. i have really let the stress get to me a lot more than i normally would. that makes for a very emotional mama. luckily i have an amazing husband and girls that i can lean on.
after a long, hard week rhett came and got the girls and i on saturday afternoon after work and took us all out. we got to spend time as a family and it really helped me feel so much better. i can't even start to tell you how blessed i am to have him as my husband.

rhett and i actually got kind of excited for Easter this year. we don't normally do much but this year we decided we wanted to. we started all sorts of fun family traditions. it was soo much fun. we hid their baskets and they had to follow string to get to them. our house looked awesome the night before. wish i would have taken some pictures.
this is the aftermath! i am still finding grass everywhere! (:

here are the girls in their Easter dress getting ready for church.

i had heard a ton about these resurrection rolls. i thought that they were such a great idea! what a fun way to teach your kids about the resurrection. we didn't get to them yesterday so i decided to do it with the girls this morning.
they are so yummy.

the "empty" tomb

tacey thought these were so cool. she ended up telling me all about the resurrection and how Jesus got his body again. i love it.

we will be doing these again next year!

what an awesome Easter we had! i am so glad.

Happy Easter!

Thursday

Easter Egg Hunt

a couple days ago the girls and I went to an egg hunt at the gym.
it was pure chaos.
they had prizes in the plastic eggs so i told the girls to GO FOR THE EGGS!
they both returned to me with no plastic eggs and a basket full of chocolate candy.
haha.

they also had tons of other activities going on.
i had planned on hitting them all but that didn't work out.
we stood in line for an hour for a balloon animal.....that popped 20 minutes later.
haha.
the girls really did have a blast,
i was exhausted by the end and kind of regretted going but then when we got home Tacey said "Mom that was the BEST Easter egg hunt EVER!!"
so i guess it was worth it.
but next time i am taking rhett for help(:
