Happy Birthday Brylee!

Brylee Gene is turning 1!!!

I can't believe how fast a year goes by! I am seriously having a hard time with it. Where did my baby go?? But on the other hand she is growing up to be such a special little girl. One of her most special gifts is being able to make people smile. I love that about her. She is so much fun. Tacey and Brylee have always been close, but in the last few months they have grown to be best friends. That has been one of the funnest things to watch. Right now Bry is only taking 5 or 6 steps at a time, but gets bored and goes back to crawling. She is talking a little bit, she says Mama, Daddy, Brybry, go, more, and a few other small words. Kisses are her favorite right now. She loves giving, receiving, and blowing kisses. I Love It! She likes to be to bed by 8 or else she makes us all pay. Another one of my favorite things she does is clap when she is proud of herself. Like when she is standing or walking she is clapping the whole time. It's so cute. I could seriously go on and on about what a cute wonderful baby she has been but I'll stop here.

Early Merry Christmas!!

Last night after dance class and grocery shopping I promised Tacey that we would go look at some Christmas lights on our way home. I thought I would quickly drive through one of the neighborhoods close to our house. But as I was turning around at a dead end I got the car stuck! Seriously, I can't believe I got our car stuck. So I pick up my cell phone and try to call Rhett to have him come help me and it says my cell phone has been disconnected....what the heck! Luckily I had the stroller in the trunk. So I loaded that girls in the stroller and we headed home in 30 degree weather at 7:30 at night. This was about a mile walk, which normally would not be that bad, except for that the girls are wearing jackets, not coats, and Tacey is in her dance clothes. But I think the girls seriously had some fun, they got to see the christmas lights up close! haha. Brylee didn't start crying until the end, her poor hands were soo cold. Anyways this super sweet guy stopped and gave me a reflector to put on the stroller. Everytime a car would come I would hurry and throw the stroller into the snow off the side of the road cause seriously no one could see us. But I am happy to say We Made It Home Safe!
When I get home I have a surprise waiting for me!

Rhett had just bought me this little beauty as my early Christmas Gift. Which explains why my phone wasn't working and had been disconnected. Great Timing Right, haha.
Anyways, this is the coolest phone ever! (Droid 2) I absolutely Love It!! Thanks Rhett for the awesome Gift.

I just wanted to say how much I love my baby girls. I feel so blessed to have them. Every morning I wake up with a smile on my face and everynight I go to bed smiling. They honestly make me so happy. They are both so cute and so funny. I always have a few good stories to tell Rhett when he gets home from work. Sometimes after the girls have fallen alseep I go in there room and lay by Tacey in her bed and then quietly pick Brylee up and go rock her. I love those moments! So peaceful. Everyday they bring so much joy into my life.

Massages for Christmas!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have massage gift certificates available for the holidays. I am trying to make them affordable because I know how tight things can get around this time. I am doing one certificate for $35 or 2 certificates for $50. These are good for one hour massages!! Makes for a Great Christmas Gift!!

Before and After

Here are my before and after pics! She did such an awesome job! It's a week later and I still absolutely love it! You are supposed to go 5 days with no make up so I just started putting eye make up on again. Everything just looks so good. The liner really brings out my eyelashes when I put my mascara on. One day I will show another picture with all my make up on. Thanks Whitney!! I did something brave!

So last Thursday I was able to go and do something Fun for Myself! My awesome friend Whit did some permanent makeup on me. I got my eyeliner done, and I LOVE IT!! I have been contemplating getting this done for Years, but was always too chicken when it came down to doing it. But seriously, it wasn't bad at all. Whitney did such a great job. She did take some before and after pictures of me so when I get those from her I will post them. a little halloween preview

Tacey got to dress up for dance class on Monday. They danced for the first half of the class then had a fun little party the second half. It was so much fun. She wore her costume all day, wings and all. Monday's are by far the funnest day of the week for Tacey, but her class doesn't start til 5:45pm, which is pretty much torture for the poor girl. Anyways, here is a cute pic of Tace in her costume at dance.

fun projects

So this week I got my hands on some paint...and glittler(: Meet the new colors of my living room. My new favorite color is blue. My new rugs are brown with a touch of blue so I thought I would spice the rest of my living room up.

This is Rhett's old chair (isn't it soo cute!) But it for sure needed a new look. LOVE IT. And Rhett still loves it too(:

And I painted this old vase the same color of blue.

Painted this mirror the same color of blue and made those "BOO" blocks for halloween.

This is for sure the cutest corner in my living room. Can't wait to get all the rest of my fall/halloween decor out!

Brylee Update(:

My Baby Girl turned 9 months on Wednesday ): She is growing up soo fast. She also had her nine month check up this last week. Her doctor is always so impressed with how freakishly strong she is. My brother Jaxyn says that her fat rolls are really her muscles, haha (Jaxyn is 6 years old btw). Anyways, Brylee is in the 24% for both her weight and height!
These are some of the fun things Brylee is doing now:
-crawling
-pulling herself up (if she isn't standing, she's not happy)
-clapping
-giving BIG SLOBBERY KISSES (absolutely love those)
-has two bottom teeth (she is still not used to those, she accidently bites herself...a lot)
-got her ears pierced! soo cute!

And she is still our Smiley Brylee. She is such a joy! Love you miss Brybry.

My Obesessions

Obsession One:

CHIZ'S RANCH

Soo Good. I'm not even much of a ranch person but I could drink this stuff! The only store I can ever find it at though is Broulum's. I am not very good at eating my vegetables but since I have been buying this stuff I love my veggies. The calories and fat from the ranch probably cancel everything else out, but at least I'm eating them(:

I get so excited for fall so I can burn my favorite candles. I just found some huge pumkin spice candles for $5 and my house smells DELICIOUS! Love It!

Another Picture

This was last night at the hospital. He is sooo dang cute, I just wanted to take him home with me. I love that newborn stage. He was wide awake and alert while we were there.

My girls just absolutley love him. We keep making jokes that their uncle is younger than they are. While we were at the hospital last night Tacey kept telling the nurse she wanted her "uncle baby" back. haha. And now she won't call him anything but "uncle baby."

I am so excited for Cooper to finally be here!! He was just born an hour ago, so when Rhett gets off work we are hoppin in the car to go see this little guy. CAN'T WAIT! And in case you are wondering, yes you did read correctly, this is my "little brother." haha, I love that Tace and Brybry are older than their uncle.

Update on the Girlies

BRYLEE GENE

Brylee is growing up so darn fast, it is crazy! She just turned 8 months, which is so fun and exciting, but it also makes me kinda sick to my stomach cause time is just flyin by. Just wanted to do a little BryBry update while I still remember these things.

-got her 2 bottom teeth a couple weeks ago

-started crawling last week

-if she has a long distance to go though she scoots, scooting is still much faster right now

-still the most smiley baby I have ever met, she has been given the name "Smiley Brylee" (love it)

-I remember by this time Tacey was totally into watching her Baby Einstein videos but I don't think Brylee has watched one minute of television, kind of a bummer, that's how I used to get ready or clean.

-sleeps through the night now, but still has one feeding in the early morning.

-Loves being outside

-is so super observant, she's a total people watcher

-such a little chunk, I just love squeezing her cute chubby cheeks and legs. Seriously, they are the cutest things I have ever seen

TACEY LYNNE

Tacey is 3 now and so adorably cute and funny. I just love her to death. She is such an amazing little girl. These are some of the things that Tace has been up to lately.

-She LOVES riding her bike. It was kind of hard for her at first but she practised and practised and now she is a champ on it. When we go on walks I push Brylee in the stroller and Tacey will ride her bike along side of me, except for that I can not always keep up with her.

-She puts herself to bed!! A lot of nights she will just go upstairs, put her jammies on, brush her teeth, and just put herself to bed.

-Very, very independent and easy going.

-goes through at the very least 5 outfits a day. Ugh..really not a fan of that. I'm seriously tempted to hire someone to come catch me up on all my laundry.

-Tacey is always making me laugh, she goes out of her way to make me laugh. Tace can flip my frown upside down quicker than anybody.

-still loves to cook. I swear if it weren't for her we wouldn't have as many nice meals as we do. she really motivates me to get things going in the kitchen.

I love, love, love my girls. They are my pride and joy. I am so blessed to have them, and they are so blessed to have eachother. Love you Girlies.

Lovin Summer

This summer has been soo much fun for us. Rhett is just about to get real busy with work(and hunting), so I have a feeling I am really going to miss summer and all the fun things we have been able to do together. Here are A TON of pics from the last couple weeks.

Jaxyn and Kiyoshi (my brother and sister) were able to come spend a week with us and we had sooo much fun. We did lots and lots of playing outside and cooking. I miss them so much now that they are gone. But I do have to say that the moment they left Tacey, Brylee, and I all crashed and pretty much slept the day away. Having four kids in the house certainly kept me on my toes...and I loved it.

Brylee is so funny. For some reason she LOVES swimming pools or lakes but the second I stick her in the bath tub she just flips out.

This last wee we were able to go to Burley for the fair. I absolutely love my hometown fair. I look forward to it every summer! We also manage to do a little shopping while we are there.

This is Tacey in the Buckle. She tried on probably 10 different outfits, accessories and all. I kept waiting for the people at the Buckle to get mad, but they all thought she was so funny and cute.

Tacey grew out of her naps quite a few months ago, but we have been on the go so much she just randomly crashes sometimes.

She is hanging half off the couch in all these pics. Wish I could just fall asleep like that.

We were also able to go to Logan and visit my mom and sisters. We had so much fun with them, they have the best pool there! But I didn't get a single picture of that entire trip so hopefully one of my sisters or mom did.

I am loving our new house. It feels so good to have some extra space. Tacey is so proud, anytime the house gets mentions she says "you want to come see my new house!" She is mostly loving all the little kids that live by us, she has made lots of new friends. Still don't have pics though cause guess what, I haven't completely finished unpacking yet. Horrible I know, but I swear I have great excuses.

Great News!

Rhett and I are offically homeowners, and it feels GREAT! We put an offer on a townhouse 3 MONTHS AGO and just got the keys a week ago. The house was a short sale, and if you know anything about short sales, they are anything but "short." With that being said, I am SOO HAPPY right now! I love, love, love my new house! I promise to post pictures when we are all unpacked.

And I wanted to do a shout out to my little sister SACIA! Love You Sister. Thanks for coming and visiting me, and for cleaning.

Look what Brylee can do!

If you know me I am sure you know that I am NOT a morning person, never have been. But these last few weeks I have totally started loving mornings.....thanks to Brylee(:  She gets up at 7 every morning and so lately just the two of us have been able to hang out for a couple hours before Tacey wakes up. I LOVE IT! Brylee is so happy and chipper in the morning. She just talks and coos and plays with my face. I normally bring her into bed with me for a few minutes after she wakes up and this is what she ended up doing this morning. Pulling herself up! Didn't even occur to me that she could do that.

Just an Update

So our summer so far has been super fun, but super crazy. This is basically Rhett's slow season in work and so he is all about doing as many fun things as possible this summer as we can, and he is not kidding when he says that. I have loved all the time we have been able to spend together.

Every year they do a memorial ride for Rhett's cousin who died a few years ago, he was a professional bike racer. So at the last minute we decided to throw Tacey into one of the races they did that day. I should add that she has never been on a bike or skooter a day in her life. We didn't have a bike for her so we borrowed one of the cousins skooters. She had soo much fun and absolutely loved being around all the other kids.

This is Rhett and Tacey crossing the finish line. Next year we will put her on a bike for sure, a skooter is no way to win a bike race.

This is Brybry in her "big girl carseat." I had no idea that children could dislike their carseats or the car so much. But this new carseat has done wonders. Her and Tacey just sit there and hold hands constantly, it's the cutest thing I have honestly Ever Seen.

Today when I was putting Brylee down for a nap Tacey decided to help me out a bit. She is mopping the kitchen floor. She put a new pad on the swiffer and everything. Such a nice helper I have, I hope this continues as she gets older.

A sure way to get Brylee smiling is to just stick the girl outside. She couldn't be happier with the extra time we have been able to spend outdoors this summer.

Month 5

I was going to wait until brylee turned 6 months to do a post but I feel like she has changed so much this month I decided to do it now. This is the month I realized she is for sure no longer my little newborn. Here are a few fun things that she has accomplished this month.

-started sitting up!! she is so excited about this, she thinks she is so big.

-she wants to crawl soo bad, but since she can't she just rolls over and over until she is where she wants to be.

-as you can tell from her BIG grin in the pic below, tace is still her favorite person Ever!

-she was NOT interested in baby food or rice for the longest time. but just this last week she has gone Crazy for it. i put her bib on and she knows it's coming and just starts freaking out. it's so funny.

-she is soo busy! always reaching and grabbing for stuff. very quick too.

-has such a special smile. she can put me in a better mood so quickly just by smiling at me.

Lovin Life

We have honestly had soo much going on. April and May are always busy, busy months for us. We have Rhett's birthday, then Tacey's, then Mother's Day, then my birthday. Very fun, also very expesive couple of months for us(: Tacey's birthday was so much fun. I had planned on a party but since most of our family lives far away nobody could make it at the same time so everybody just stopped by at random different times which I actually ended up liking even more, cause then Tace got to spend some quality time with everyone. But I have to say she did get SOOO spoiled! Everybody just showered her with love and gifts. She had a blast! We did princess theme which was a total hit.

My birthday was last week along with Mother's Day so I also got way spoiled. Rhett got me some awesome running shoes (asics), I LOVE THEM. Makes such a difference to run in a pair of nice shoes.

The girls bonding and laughing during breakfast. They are so fun to just sit and watch.

We went to Dusty and Annie's house this last weekend which was so fun. But sadly I forgot my camera and I only got a picture of rhett and bry bry sleeping. I think it is such a precious picture.

And this picture is my favorite picture of all. This pretty much just sums up Tacey and what a little goof she is. She is wearing Brylee's coat, her undies, and my snow boots. I was doing the dishes one day with the door wide up open in the kitchen letting the nice breeze blow in when I see Tacey outside like this! She has one of the neighbor's ropes and is wrapping it around the tree. Oh the neighbors must think I am such a terrific mother. Tacey's always good for a laugh.

These were Tacey's cakes for her birthday. Making the castle cake turned out to be a little bit more stressful than fun, but that's okay cause Tacey LOVED it. It sat in the fridge for a day so Tacey would sneak a bit of frosting every now and then off of it. So it was a lot cuter the day I made it.

THE PRINCESS

These last few weeks have been so much fun. I was a little bummed out to be turning 23 though. I have always dreaded turning 23 because of that song that Blink 182 sings "nobody likes you when you're 23." Stupid I know, but kinda funny. Rhett always rolls his eyes at me when I tell him that. But I do have to say that I am in a place in my life where I couldn't be happier. I love waking up everyday! I love my wonderful husband and my girls soo much! Being a mommy and wife is the BEST! What a wonderful blessing it is.
