JULY

Here's July's Recap. i'm just about caught up!

the morning of the fourth we drove up to rexburg to watch the parade.  we were at the end of the parade and the kids made out on candy this year.  the year before we were closer to the beginning of the parade and i think my kids got like 3 pieces of candy.  haha.

does anyone recognize the outfits my girls are wearing? i bought those for them 2 or 3 years ago and they still fit them.  and the girls still love them.  so i guess we will keep sporting those outfits until the girls grow out of them.  my cute little peanuts. 

after the parade we headed up to packsaddle lake with the rzrs.  it's a really pretty drive.

the water is COLD!! we all jumped in though. 

 this log is scarier than it looks.  if you fall off on your way out there is really nowhere for you to fall.  i didn't think it was a big deal until i did it a couple times.  i might have froze up and had to have rhett come help me the rest of the way out.  i'm not going to show those pictures. haha.  i'm too embarrassed. 

rhett took both of the girls out a few times.

 later that night we went to idaho falls to watch some fireworks with rhett's family. it was a good 4th.

here is riggs with sweet grandma warren. 

tacey has been the best helper.  i've had quite a few nights where i am doing the dishes after dinner and she has gotten riggins all ready for bed and sometimes even in bed with a bottle made and everything.  she's amazing.  and riggins loves her to death.

 one night when our husbands were out of town toni and i got our girlies together and let them watch a movie on the porch.  it was cute and such a fun memory for the girls.

 sunday night is a favorite night at our house! we make some sort of treat and then all pile on the couch in the basement and watch a family movie.  i look forward to sunday all week long.

 riggs started crawling in july at 7 months old! where has the time gone?  this boy learned to crawl by going for cell phones.  he especially loves rhett's phone for some reason.

 riggins got this mean, awful fever in july.  it lasted for just under two weeks.  not to mention he was only eating 4oz of milk a day.  i was literally watching my baby shrink.  i took him to the dr thinking it was an ear infection or a bladder infection and it was neither.  it was the saddest/hardest two weeks ever.  my poor boy was so miserable.

the only thing that ever brought him any comfort was a bath.  so he had a lot of baths that week.  it's been almost a month since this happened and i am still so, so grateful to have my happy baby back.

 another visit to see grandma one day.  she is loved.

 our girls came to me one day and said we are going to have a sleepover in boxes.  i kind of just laughed at them and told them okay.  i was super shocked when i went into their room to kiss them goodnight to find them actually in boxes.  haha. these two girls are hilarious.

 rhett had a rough time while he was out of town for work.  he cut his head open, then broke his tooth off(it was an implant), and then got a speeding ticket! poor guy, now that's a rough day.

i've been trying to make dinner with the girls more often.  i don't want them to be like me and not know how to cook when they get married! it's always messier when they help, but it's worth the mess for the great memory. (:

 we met my dad, brothers, and sister in town for some cafe rio the other day.  then my siblings came over to play while my dad flew.

 for some reason whenever my brother jaxyn is over he attracts a party! i think every single neighbor kid was over at our house that day at some point.  it was a fun day.

 rhett and i finally made time for a date! i can't even tell you when the last date was that we went on.  we jammed packed our date with as much as we could that night.  we started off with dinner at Gringos, mini golf, a walk, some ice cream, and then to the movies to see Blended.  it was such a fun night. we need to go out more often.

 rhett and the kids came to see me while i was getting my hair done and megan was nice enough to cute rhett's hair too. brylee helped.

 she even waxed rhett's nose and eyebrows for him. THANK YOU! rhett said it hurt, but he would do it again since i liked it so much.  what a good man.

i haven't had short hair in years and decided to try it again.  a little change is just what i needed.  

 this is just cute.  i think they were tickling her.

 these two sillies switched outfits on me the other day.  they thought it was hilarious.

 and it has totally begun. a little baby tearing my house apart.  i don't even mind as long as we keep the little guy out of the bathrooms!
