twenty-two: where i work

i am so very blessed to have a husband that works so hard so that i can stay home and raise our girls. honestly there is nowhere else i would rather be. since i was little i dreamed about being a mom and staying home with them. i'm so grateful that that has become my reality. 

most of my day is spent in this room though. it is a constant battle to keep this kitchen clean! but it is the one room i work hardest at, cause for some reason if my kitchen is clean it makes the whole house feel cleaner. we are almost ALWAYS in the kitchen.

everybody is always eating.

and the computer is in here.

this is how my kitchen looks a lot of the time!

but luckily i have GREAT helpers!

and when i am lucky i will get a call to do a massage here and there.

twenty-one: a favorite photo of you

this picture was taken almost exactly 6 years ago. this is us on our honeymoon in vegas. 

i am not really sure why this is one of my favorites. it just is.

i love that i am just as happy now (if not more) then i was then.

i love my rhett. 

twenty: handwriting

it was kind of hard to find something not personal with my handwriting on it. now that i am not in school i really don't have to write much. i have my journal, my planner, and a few recipes with my handwriting on it. i chose a recipe(: 

there isn't anything special about my handwriting. it has gotten quite sloppy in the last few years, but i don't really care anymore! 

nineteen: something you hate to do

i seriously love almost everything about our townhouse. 

the only thing i do not like about it is...no garage.

mostly on days likes this.

so something i hate to do is park my car outside on snowy days.

eighteen: drink

we have had quite a bit of this stuff lately. anniversary, v-day, and just for fun on sunday. yum.

seventeen: time

if i could choose one phase of my life to have slowed down it would be this one. there really isn't enough time. i am lOviNg this part of my life. my kids are still at home with me all day and they are sleeping through the night. life is good.

it does make me so sad that the baby of the house is no longer a baby.

where has the time gone?

and have you seen my 'almost' five year old lately?

this girl is amazing.

she is honestly the best kid ever.

she is the second mother around here, always taking care of everybody, even me(:

tacey starts school in the fall and i will no longer have her home all day with me. she is so ready for it, but i can't say that i am. i have got to make these next few months at home with her count.

now if time would only slow down a bit so i could just savor every moment with these girls.

sixteen: something new

my something new is my jogger. i've had it for a few weeks now and am still in love with it.

i LOVE to go running, but it has been really hard for me to find time to go since rhett doesn't get home until later at night. so this jogger has been amazing! i can go running anytime i please. not to mention it pushes through the snow like nobody's business.

and the even better part, rhett and i get to go running TOGETHER now!

fifteen: phone

this morning the girls and i woke up to these hearts. rhett had written each of us a valentine note and hung them up in the house. the girls have since colored on them with highlighter(: 

what a sweet man we have in our lives.

my new favorite cleaner: methods. 

i think they put something in there to make you addicted to this stuff. cause i can't get enough of it. i just ordered a whole case of the kitchen cleaner from amazon. can't wait! 

twelve: inside your closet

ugh, i have been dreading putting this picture up. i am not real proud of our closet. i am not gonna lie, i have totally let a man take over my closet! and the things that i do have in there are either too big, or too small. i am going to have to repost new and improved picture of my closet one day when i have finally cleaned it out.

but do you see all of rhett's things in here??

eleven: makes you happy

i have a million things that make me happy, seriously my list could go on and on. my handsome husband, my beautiful girls, my home, the church. seriously, i am one lucky girl. 

but today, the thing that really put a smile on my face is my new filing cabinet. it sounds so dumb, but if you only knew what this cabinet has done for me. i had a world of paper mess swirling around my kitchen and could not find a good solution. 

one day i will have a very organized office, but until then, this filing cabinet makes me very happy.

ten: self portrait

okay so i cheated. this is not a self portrait from today. today i am tired a little disheveled so this will have to do!

seven: button

tazer bug has a favorite button. it would be the pause button. on anything. 

if we are watching a movie or tv and she needs to leave the room for something, no matter what we are watching she has to push pause.

or if we are listening to music on the computer and she needs to leave the room she walks over and pushes pause. 

haha. that girl cracks me up.

six: dinner

for dinner tonight we had a rhett and taryn special. yum.

it's a BBQ chicken taco salad.

chicken is made with homemade BBQ sauce. 

that's what made tonights dinner so dang good.

with some spinach, chiz's ranch, cheese, and some crunched up tortilla chips.

so good.

five: 10am

at 10am you can bet that both of the girls are in dress up clothes. 

and tacey is sitting at the table doing her puzzle.

i don't even have to help her with puzzles anymore. no joke.

i love my girls.

four: a stranger

So the girls and i made a trip to idaho falls today so i knew it was going to be easy peasy to get a picture of a stranger. i brought my camera and everything. 

it was such a nice day today, so nice that we had the windows rolled down. as i am driving through the mall parking lot i have this man drive past me honking his horn and yelling at me. haha. i seriously have no idea what i had done to make this man so angry but believe me, he was MAD.

 i must have been too focused on finding a parking spot...

after the guy drove off tacey said "mom, who was the man? is he your friend?" 

ummm, no. he is not my friend. haha.

i didn't get a picture of this stranger with the road rage but it pretty much looked just like this.

three: hands

my baby's poor hands got caught in the jogger the other day when it was getting folded up. they look a lot better in these pictures but they were so swollen and bruised we thought for sure one finger was broken. luckily after a little ibuprofen she was wiggling and moving them again. poor girl ):
