Christmas!

Christmas this year was crazy. I felt like we never stopped moving. It was so fun, but I will admit I am tired.
One of my favorite things we did was go to my grandma and grandpa Tegan's house. We headed there on the 23rd. My grandma put so much work into the party. There was constantly something fun going on. Santa came, we had a hay ride, the kids did a nativity scene for us, there were games for the adults, and of course yummy food. I am so glad we went, it was an amazing night.

On Christmas Eve we then headed over to my Aunt Carmen's house. This was also an amazing night. I love it when everyone can get together and just enjoy each other.

Brylee NEVER left grandpa's side all week. I have never seen her so quiet or content.  She loves him so.

Sacia and I rockin Christmas shirts!

Girls opening their Christmas Eve jammies.

My grandpa makin us all laugh.

Dad and Uncle Coop

One of my favorite moments of the night was Jordy serenading us. Haha.
and there were some awesome ugly sweaters going on. Wish I would have gotten a picture of them all.
We ended the night by talking about what we were most grateful for and reminiscing. The spirit was strong and I went to bed with a warm heart. I love my family and am so grateful for them and their great examples. Especially the women in my family, they are amazing.

Christmas morning didn't go quite the way I planned. Tacey beat us upstairs so I was kinda bummed. I woke up to little footsteps running around upstairs so I jumped out of bed as quick as I could! haha, little turkey.

SQUINKIES!!

Since Rhett and I got a new computer this year we decided that we weren't going to buy anything else. Well when he saw that I still did a stocking for him I think he panicked.
I woke up to a peanut butter and jam sandwich, marshmellows, fruit loops, a coke, a banana, cream of chicken soup, and some "slightly" used deodorant.
Can't say the man didn't try.

I absolutely loved having Christmas on Sunday this year. My dad's ward only had sacrament meeting. It was such an amazing meeting. The spirit was so strong. It was an hour long music program and it was beautiful.
I dressed the girls up in their new outfits for church. They looked pretty dang cute.

After Christmas Rhett and I got some food poisoning and that was no fun at all. Just glad I had people around to take care of the kids. We did have to postpone our trip to my moms house because of us getting sick, that is what sucked most.
So, we still have one more Christmas to celebrate with my mama and sisters and we can't wait!!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Monday

A day with my Grandparents!

A few weekends ago Rhett and I had loaded the girls up in the car to go to the movies. Right before we arrived at the theater we got a call from my grandma and grandpa Tegan saying that they were in town! What a great surprise!! So we skipped the movie and spent the day with them!!

Yep, the girls were SOAKED!

This was such a special day that I will never forget!

Sunday

Family

This is my mom's side of the family..The Tegans! My mother (Tracey) died when I was four years old. I admit I do not get together as often as I would like with the family, but I sure appreciate the times I do have with them. I love them all so much. It is always so fun to hear stories about my mom, I treasure every story I have ever been told about my her. Rhett and I almost didn't make it to Raft River for these family photos but I am soo happy we did.
This is all the Tegan women(:

And the whole family!

This was a picture taken of the family 6 years ago. The funny thing is Rhett is sitting patiently by the photographer. Rhett and I had just started dating and we couldn't talk him into taking a picture with us all. Dangit, I wish he would have! I knew I was gonna marry him!
