Thursday

The BEST news ever! And our summer.

I am sure most of you have already heard that baby #3 is on the way from facebook and instagram, but I'll post about it anyway. I am just soo excited for this baby! Rhett and I had seriously considered just stopping at two kids because my pregnancies are so hard, but I REALLY wanted just one more! I am super grateful to be pregnant again, even if it is hard.
This pregnancy hasn't been much different than the other two.  I'm still sick and miserable and losing weight.  But this time I think I have it down to a science and know my body a little bit better.  And because of that I think I have been able to skip the PICC line and IV'S.  I probably could have used an IV a couple times, but I made it through and baby boy and I are doing just fine.
Within just the last week I have felt a ton better!! I can finally EAT!!! I can tell it has been a shock to my body to be receiving so much food, but I don't care! I have MISSED food SOOO much!!! I love waking up hungry!! I still get sick at night and don't feel 100%, but I will take what I can get!
And PS, I thank the person that invented nausea meds.  Those people are going straight to heaven!

I'm happy this little baby is a BOY and I can only hope he will be a little Rhett, the world could use another Rhett. I am so used to buying girly, frilly, things so buying boy stuff is going to be a huge change for me.  But a FUN change. I found these cute outfits and Sam's Club and just had to buy them!

I keep telling Rhett that I think Heavenly Father blesses me with being able to feel my babies move early because during times when I thought I was going to die from feeling so sick I would feel the baby and it would change my whole mood around.  I have been feeling the baby move for a good two months which has been amazing.  The ultrasound tech said it was because of where my placenta was attached and that the baby is laying in just right spot for me to feel him move all the time.  It's amazing and NEVER gets old.

Here I am at 17 weeks

And this picture was taken yesterday
21 weeks pregnant
Pretty good growth spurt if you ask me!

So, I decided to just throw the rest of our summer stuff into this post.  Because who am I kidding, by the time I get back on here to blog school will probably have started and I will have a bunch new stuff to blog about(:

Rhett gets us into those RZR's as often as he possibly can. Those things have been an awesome stress reliever for him. He works so much I'm just glad he has something fun to do when he does get a nice little break!

My dad had let us borrow a couple of his dirt bike's.  Every SINGLE day Rhett gets home from work he takes the kids on a quick ride around the neighborhood. They all love it!

So even though most of my time this summer has been spent with me laying on the couch doing NOTHING I have tried to keep the girls busy and happy.

We also went on a quick/long road trip with Rhett to Nevada for work.  It was nice for us girl to get out of the house. We really enjoyed our time with Rhett and the girls did surprisingly great in the car.

We went up to Driggs for a little 4th of July celebration.  We endured a BIG storm that came through.  The wind and rain was crazy there for a little while.  Once the storm passed it was great though.  The girls even got to see Snow White.  Some of the Beach Boys and Lee Greenwood performed and it was all for free.  I love free(:  Haha.  But really, it was a fun night.

The girls did catch the stomach flu this summer which was awful! Try dealing with that with morning sickness! BLEH! Luckily only Brylee threw up.  But they both had awful nausea, fevers, and headaches.  Poor things :(
The girls slept on our bedroom floor that week so I could help them easily during the night if they needed it.
Bry was so, so sick one night and so miserable.  She asked Rhett to give her a blessing out of the blue. After the blessing Brylee got a good nights sleep and woke up feeling much better. Now she loves to tell everybody about her experience with her daddy giving her a priesthood blessing and how it made her better. It makes my heart so happy every time I hear her talk about it.

We have had this cute boy come stay with us TWICE this summer!! I love this little brother of mine. Uncle Cooper is the BEST(:

Some fun days at the park!

And of course most of our days are spent at home because it just takes so much out of me to do much else.
So we have been trying to get creative with some fun crafts for the girls to do!

And these are just some fun random pictures of my girls being silly.
I sure love them and feel so blessed that I get to be their mom.
They are the BEST!

Hope this post wasn't too long! Kind of an overload, haha.
Hope everyone is having a great summer!

Tuesday

So I can't believe how long it has been since I last posted! I have a ton to catch up on! We have been super busy lately. I have been soo stressed for the past year trying to get our our townhouse sold.  We tried using a realtor for the first 6 months and then we did by owner after that.  It's a little scary selling a house yourself, but it ended up working out great! I am super glad it is all over with and that we found such an awesome, cute couple to buy it.  The girls are really miss our cute, little town home and all their best friends but I am in heaven where we are now.  Because we were able to find our perfect home just in time. The house we bought was literally on the market only a day before we snatched it up! Which worked out perfect for us so we didn't have to rent an apartment and have to move twice!

So goodbye townhouse

HELLO BEAUTIFUL NEW HOUSE!!

We are so in love with our new house.  It really has been a dream for us.  Rhett and I have either lived in an apartment or townhouse for the last seven years of our marriage so this has been amazing!!

Closing on our townhouse was the easiest thing ever.  But closing on this new house was the biggest headache.  I'm just glad it's over.
We moved into an awesome ward and they have been quick to put us to work.  Rhett is the sunday school teacher for the 12-14 year olds and I am the new beehive advisor.  It's a bit terrifying for me since I have bever served with the youth but I really do think it is going to be so fun.  All the girls are so cute and sweet and I can't wait to get to know them a little better.

The house we ended up buying is in Rigby.  My biggest worry and stress was what should I do with Tacey and school. We moved in April and I was worried about yanking her out so close to the end of the school year.  After a meeting with her teacher and some thought and prayer we decided to just leave her in her school in Rexburg.  Which meant a 20 minute drive each way every day.  BIGGEST PAIN IN THE BUTT!! I was making 3 or 4 trips to Rexburg a lot of days to pick up/drop off for school and dance.  I am still happy with the decision to keep Tacey in her class but I am SOO HAPPY school and dance are DONE!!! It has been super nice not having anywhere to go these last few days.

We really do love our new home and are so excited to start this new chapter in our lives!

Wednesday

help

apparently i have run out of space on my blog. weird. i don't feel like i even have that many pictures on my blog but i guess i do. has this happened to anyone else? blogger says i have to purchase something to keep posting pictures. i even tried deleting a few posts on my blog to make more space but its a no go. wondering if i should just make a new blog or back off on the blogging all together. anyways, i was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and what you have done if it has happened.

Friday

i am having this problem right now.
actually, i have had a hard time with sleep my entire life. but right now it seems worse. i worry way too much. lately i have even been waking up in the middle of the night or super early and can't go back to sleep. wish my brain had an on/off button. but the good that has come out of it is instead of just laying in bed going crazy i have been getting up and just getting stuff done. no matter the hour. my favorite is when i can make it to the gym and back before everyone wakes up. i love having my workouts out of the way.  i have even been doing dishes and laundry in the middle of the night. i feel like i am going crazy! anyways, i am hoping this is just a weird phase and i can get back to sleeping normal! i feel so much better when i get a good nights rest.

the other night rhett and i heard the girls get out of bed. when i finally made it up the stairs to check on them this is what i found.
tacey was 'trying' to cut bry's toenails. haha. bry kept saying "owe, that hurts." but she just kept letting tacey clip away. haha, i thought it was pretty cute.
(fyi: bry had no cuts on her, i checked(: )

i sure love these two stinkers.
they make me so happy.

Thursday

all these pictures were taken off my phone so they are kinda crappy.
this has been such a fun week for little bry.
she started preschool!
she LOVES it.
and on top of that tacey has been home all week for harvest break.
so she is one happy girl.
tacey has been loving the break too.
tacey thought it was so fun that she got to stay with me while bry went to school. (:

since i haven't felt as busy cause of harvest break i thought i would get a project checked off my list. i have been wanting to put the girls in their own room since school started. they love to just talk and laugh all night long. it didn't really bother me until school started. but these girls need their beauty rest.

this was their room before.

and this was their playroom. it is an awful mess....ALWAYS! ugh, drives me nuts!

so i woke up yesterday morning and just thought, hey i am going to do this! i threw everything into the hall and went to work moving beds, mattresses, tvs, and toys around. it was A LOT of work. i think i may have even cried at one point cause i was so overwhelmed.

but by 9:00pm i finally had it finished.
hopefully i never let the girls toys get that unorganized again! that was the worst part of all.
i threw a ton of stuff away and also put all the baby toys away. it was just TOO MUCH STUFF!

tacey's room has hardly any toys at all in it. she has her table to color and do homework and her kitchen set. and also a book shelf.

bry has all the toys in her room now. haha. we will see how that goes!
i HATE having toys in their rooms!
it really stresses me out.
my favorite part of a playroom was that i could just shut the door and ignore the mess. haha.
oh well. one day they will have their own rooms AND a playroom.
but until then, this will do(:

i let tacey choose which room she wanted and which bed. i find it very funny that she chose the smaller bed with the smaller room. haha.
and i know their rooms look super sad and boring but rhett and i have spent a lot of time UNdecorating our house and patching up holes in hopes that the house will sell sometime. so until we have a new house the girls will have brown walls with nothing hanging on them(: seriously though, i think they could care less as long as they have their pink blankies.

so glad that is finished! and so proud that i did it all in one day.
i do have a big HUGE horse and a stuffed bear larger than life taking up my entire living room right now. that is a bit annoying. any takers on the large bear??
one of you just might find it on your front step!

random thoughts from today

today was a good day. towards the end of the week we just get busier. i am soo tired and exhausted, but i am happy(:

rhett has been getting up at 4am to go to work and for some reason i can't ever go back to sleep after he wakes up. bummer.

brylee was able to go see her preschool class today! she LOVED it. she is actually in a toddler lab cause she missed the deadline for preschool. i got looking around at all the kids she is in class with and they are literally all babies! barely talking and wearing diapers. hmmm. not quite sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. most of bry's friends are older than her so she is constantly saying 'hey, wait for me!' haha. so maybe this will be a good thing, cause she will get to take the role as the older one now. either way i don't think she really cares. they give her food, toys, and she gets to play outside. she is happy as can be. and as long as she is learning and progressing and not regressing than i am happy too.

after doing some grocery shopping and picking tazer up from school we were able to go pick my dad up for lunch! that was the best part of my day! my dad is in town for a couple days! wahoo!

i then went to a pto meeting where parents are welcome. i feel like such a newbie with having a kid in school now. (if only you knew some of the stupid things i have done the last couple weeks, like making tacey do extra homework that she didn't need to do. oops.) there are always things going on for the school and i want to be involved in at least a little bit of it. so i thought it would be a good idea for me to go and i figured other moms would go to. umm, nope! there were hardly any other moms there and the ones that were there knew what they were doing and what they were talking about. haha. i guess it was good for me to go and listen but if i could have a do over i probably would have gone home to take a quick nap(:

we then ran home had a quick snack, took tazer to dance, ran a few more errands, and then i FINALLY made it to the gym. i am used to going in the mornings but have been having to go in the afternoons lately. it's hard to stay motivated all day long but once i am there i swear i have better workouts in the afternoon. i have a lot more energy.

it is now 9:00 and i can't believe i am still awake. my house is a mess and poor rhett had an egg sandwich for dinner. ahh! i feel like such a mess! i like order and structure so hopefully i can get used to this all soon. i think i just need to be more organized. i really would like to be superwoman.

some pictures from today!

thank you whitney ricks for telling me about these pancakes! the girls think i am the best mom ever cause they get pancakes.
mmmmm.....good.

and apparently one of the girls was taking pictures today. haha. i had no idea.

and just to add to my post from yesterday, I ALSO NEED MY FRIENDS! i really am blessed with some great girlfriends. having good girlfriends really, really helps keep me sane! i love both my whitneys!!
umm.... whitney liz, text me back! haha. love you. i DO need you!

my mind has been running like crazy at night and i can't sleep! even though i am soooo exhausted. maybe now that i got all my random thoughts out of my head i can go right to sleep tonight.

Wednesday

this is all i need...

my cute little family.
these people make me so happy.
haha, btw this picture is one of my favorites.
it really shows my girls personalities.
tacey is off in her own little world
and bry is just being funny trying to make us laugh.
haha, i love it.

my favorite part about my little family is how safe i feel.
no matter what kind of crazy chaos is going on around us i feel like i can always go home and just feel secure and safe and most of all loved.
i love that. i need that.

i can be having the worst day ever and feel like the whole world is against me and i feel like i am just going to crumble. but then all i have to do is go and snuggle up with my girls and hubby and i feel so much better.

i hope i do the same for all of them. especially my girls.
i hope they can always just come home and feel so loved and special.

i feel so blessed to have rhett as my husband. he is my better half. i sure love him.

and seriously, how cute are these girls!!!

i couldn't ask for a better life.

this is all i need.
