random pictures and thoughts

here are a few things that have been going on in the last couple weeks. we have been busy.

i was able to go to logan and do a mud run with Whitney and a few other girls. it was so much fun! i had a blast!

rhett went to island park to hunt that weekend and i was able to stay with my mom and sisters. luckily they were able to come with me while i ran and watch my girls for me. they are life savers. 

later that day my mom took us out to lunch. briky isn't in the picture cause she is behind the camera dangit.

Renee and Coop were able to come up while my dad was out of town. they came and watched Bry's very first dance class!

look at her she is already a pro!! she does so well in dance class. i was worried about sticking her in dance when she isn't even 3 yet, but seriously she does amazing. 

Coop came over later and played for awhile. 

these two are TROUBLE together! haha.

they have so much fun with each other.

they got their hair cut earlier this week!

for the longest time tacey has been saying that she wants to grow her hair out like repunzals, so i thought for sure we were just going in for a trim. but then we got there and tacey said 'cut it off!' i was really uneasy about it but she told me to chill and that it is just hair and that it will grow back. now i am so glad we cut it. it looks so much better. and she LOVES it!

we went on a family walk in at beaverdick park this sunday.

this was todays dance class. bry did amazing again. and it was even more fun cause her best friend Braiz is in her class now! bry would run over and give her random hugs during the class. it was so cute.

so i have to be honest. since i was little i have dreamed about being a 'soccer mom.' for the last 5 years my life has been pretty easy going (besides that year i went to massage therapy school, that was tough for me). we get up when we want, we have done whatever we want, and never really had any place to be. and then all of a sudden life got crazy! there is always some place we have got to be between school, dance, gymnastics, and trying to fit my workouts in somewhere in there. it has been a bit of an adjustment but i seriously love it. some days i am feeling a little stretched thin, but it is good for me. i do way better when i am busy and not idle. life is so good, and being a  mom so awesome.

having some tazer bug time. i took her out on a mommy/daughter date the other day. we both really needed it. it was so much fun.

tace has had a few mondays off from school and bry gets soo excited on the days that they get to be home together.

5 years old!!!

My Tazerbug turned 5 on Monday. How crazy is that!!?? It freaks me out how quickly time has passed. I can't believe what a beautiful, wonderful little girl she is. Tacey is so AmAzIng!! I am so lucky to be her mom. 

Tacey has had a countdown for her birthday since Christmas. She could not wait to turn 5! It seriously feels like such a big milestone. She is all signed up for kindergarten in the fall. 

I wanted to make Tacey feel so special on her special day but I wasn't up for throwing a huge party again this year. Plus Rhett and I decided we were only going to do friend parties every other year. So the night before Rhett and I spent a good 30 minutes blowing up about 30 or so balloons and we decorated the house a bit for her. She was so excited when she came downstairs. 

On Sunday my mom and sisters drove up. It was so much fun. We always have so much fun when they come!

Rhett had to work on Tacey's birthday so we decided to go in a wake Tacey up to give her a present before Rhett had to leave.

i think tacey had a great day! she is still hyper and happy from the big day, it has been all she can talk about. i am soo glad she had a great birthday. it was a big deal to her. i am so grateful for all the wonderful people in our lives that helped make her feel special and loved(: 

i love this girl soo dang much it physically hurts. i could seriously just hug and kiss her all day long. she has been such a blessing in our lives since the moment i found out i was pregnant with her. she has the sweetest, kindest spirit. i am so grateful for what an amazing example she is to us. she makes us laugh and smile every single day.

Easter Egg Hunt

a couple days ago the girls and I went to an egg hunt at the gym. 

it was pure chaos.

they had prizes in the plastic eggs so i told the girls to GO FOR THE EGGS! 

they both returned to me with no plastic eggs and a basket full of chocolate candy.

haha. 

they also had tons of other activities going on.

i had planned on hitting them all but that didn't work out.

we stood in line for an hour for a balloon animal.....that popped 20 minutes later.

haha. 

the girls really did have a blast,

i was exhausted by the end and kind of regretted going but then when we got home Tacey said "Mom that was the BEST Easter egg hunt EVER!!" 

so i guess it was worth it.

but next time i am taking rhett for help(:

Brylee does this several times a day and I get a kick out of it. I laugh every time.

I think she is just the cutest thing ever.

*After Rhett watched that video of Tacey he asked me if she was saying "i have to go poop." Well in case you were wondering she is actually saying "i have to go home" (her pretend baby was crying of course) 

nobody probably cares, but i just wanted to throw that in there. (:

Looking through my blog I realize I am one of those super annoying people that only really blog about their kids. Can you blame though, they are so freakin cute!

All About Tazer Bug

Tacey Birthday was clear back on April 30. Can't believe I haven't blogged about it yet, but better late then never. All these pictures were taken with my phone, so the quality is HoRriBle! 

Our Tacey Girl turned 4!! She is getting soo BiG! Thanks to everyone that came, you all made Tacey's day! 

Tacey had a Repunzal Party. It had to be princess and it had to be PINK!

Tace had to make a few cupcakes herself. People were a little nervous about eating the ones that Tacey frosted. It's just a little colored frosting People! I thought they were delicious and she was VERY proud.

Daddy helped with the cupcake decorating too. When I got a little overwhelmed getting ready for the party Rhett jumped in and did the cupcake design. I was super happy with how it turned out. Good Job Babe!

OFF TO SCHOOL

Tacey also had her first day of preschool. It was actually supposed to be her 3rd day of school, but that is right when she caught the stomach bug so she started a week late.

School has been soo fun. I am going to be as sad as she is when it is over. I love having her come home and telling me everything she learned that day. She has made some fun new friends and loves her teachers!

When she gets up in the morning she request how she would like her hair done for school. On her first day of school she asked me to straighten it. She is so cute.
