Happy Marriage Birthday!

haha, that's how Tacey describes an anniversary. She is so dang cute.

well Rhett and I have been married for 6 years today. Holy Cow that went by fast. I can't remember life without him but it also seems like yesterday that we just got married....if that makes any sense.
i woke up this morning reminiscing about the morning we got married. we had had our reception the night before in burley and so i fell asleep that night in the middle of packing from being so exhausted from the reception. all i remember is waking up completely frantic the next morning. my alarm hadn't gone off, i hadn't finished packing yet for the honeymoon, i had no time to redo my hair (thankfully my curls hadn't hardly moved from the night before!) and we had to be in idaho falls. so basically i threw everything in sight into my suitcase, grabbed my wedding dress, and jumped in the car. by the time we were all in the car we were racing as fast as we could and of course got pulled over by cop (luckily my dad was driving and used his charm to get us out of a ticket). thankfully we somehow managed to get to the temple before rhett even did. i remember sitting in the temple still completely frantic and stressed from the crazy morning and then i saw rhett. he came and sat by me before we went into the sealing room and just held my hand. i felt much better. the rest of the day went so smoothly and was absolutely perfect.
i can't even tell you how happy and grateful i am that i married rhett. sometimes i cannot even believe he chose me. rhett is amazing.
we have had a crazy 6 years. we have been through a LOT, and some of it was really hard. but it has been the most amazing 6 years of my life. i am grateful for all the things that we have been through. i know that i have a husband and a best friend that can help me get through anything. i love that i have a  husband that makes me want to be better. he is such an amazing example to me. he is so good at making me feel confident and beautiful. i love him.

the coolest part about being married to rhett is that we make the BEST babies. i love that we have our own little family. i used to dream about this day when i was little and it is everything i ever wanted. i love my girls. i love my rhett. i love my life.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABE! or Happy Marriage Birthday. i am so happy you are the one i get to spend the rest of eternity with.

Here are some highlights of the last six years.

Wednesday

My Sweet Grandpa

I know I just posted this picture on facebook so you have all probably seen it already but I just love this picture. We just went to see my family for the day last Saturday and it was so much fun. I can't get over how much my little Brybry loves Grandpa Cliff. The second she sees him her face just lights up and she yells GRANDPA! The best part about being around Grandpa Cliff is he is basically the only one that can get her to calm down when she is throwing one of her terrible two tantrums. She just sits quietly and contently on his lap. Dang I wish I still lived next door to my grandpa! I think I know why Bry loves my grandpa so much, it's cause he is so dang AMAZING. Seriously, he is the best man I know. I love that I have him in my life and it just melts my heart every time I see the special bond they have.

Monday

Love Them

A fun day with Grandma and Aunties

We were finally able to get together with my mom and sisters. They drove up from Utah to come see us yesterday!! We had soo much fun!
I have NO makeup on in any of these pictures but I had to post them.

We got a little carried away playing in photo booth. I think we took around 50 pictures in like 10 minutes. haha.

I think Bry makes the cutest chipmunk.

And Tacey makes the cutest bug.

The girls danced and sang for everyone.
Tacey has my mom's vest on, Briky's bracelets, and she was wearing Sacia's glasses. haha.

Thanks so much for coming and seeing us Mom, Sacia, and Briky. We are now going through some withdrawals not having you here. ): Love You Guys!!

Wednesday

This is a picture of both girls at the EXACT SAME AGE doing the exact same thing.

I could not get Brylee to hold still for a picture.

BTW, if you couldn't tell what was all over their faces it is mascara. I obviously didn't learn my lesson the first time around and STILL don't know how to hide my makeup. (:

Do ya think they look alike? I think so. Tacey just had quite a bit more hair at that age than Brylee does now.

Christmas!

Christmas this year was crazy. I felt like we never stopped moving. It was so fun, but I will admit I am tired.
One of my favorite things we did was go to my grandma and grandpa Tegan's house. We headed there on the 23rd. My grandma put so much work into the party. There was constantly something fun going on. Santa came, we had a hay ride, the kids did a nativity scene for us, there were games for the adults, and of course yummy food. I am so glad we went, it was an amazing night.

On Christmas Eve we then headed over to my Aunt Carmen's house. This was also an amazing night. I love it when everyone can get together and just enjoy each other.

Brylee NEVER left grandpa's side all week. I have never seen her so quiet or content.  She loves him so.

Sacia and I rockin Christmas shirts!

Girls opening their Christmas Eve jammies.

My grandpa makin us all laugh.

Dad and Uncle Coop

One of my favorite moments of the night was Jordy serenading us. Haha.
and there were some awesome ugly sweaters going on. Wish I would have gotten a picture of them all.
We ended the night by talking about what we were most grateful for and reminiscing. The spirit was strong and I went to bed with a warm heart. I love my family and am so grateful for them and their great examples. Especially the women in my family, they are amazing.

Christmas morning didn't go quite the way I planned. Tacey beat us upstairs so I was kinda bummed. I woke up to little footsteps running around upstairs so I jumped out of bed as quick as I could! haha, little turkey.

SQUINKIES!!

Since Rhett and I got a new computer this year we decided that we weren't going to buy anything else. Well when he saw that I still did a stocking for him I think he panicked.
I woke up to a peanut butter and jam sandwich, marshmellows, fruit loops, a coke, a banana, cream of chicken soup, and some "slightly" used deodorant.
Can't say the man didn't try.

I absolutely loved having Christmas on Sunday this year. My dad's ward only had sacrament meeting. It was such an amazing meeting. The spirit was so strong. It was an hour long music program and it was beautiful.
I dressed the girls up in their new outfits for church. They looked pretty dang cute.

After Christmas Rhett and I got some food poisoning and that was no fun at all. Just glad I had people around to take care of the kids. We did have to postpone our trip to my moms house because of us getting sick, that is what sucked most.
So, we still have one more Christmas to celebrate with my mama and sisters and we can't wait!!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas!
