My Favorites

I remember clear back when (before kids) my house used to be soo clean, I was so OCD about everything! Haha, that is not how things are anymore! I feel like I am seriously having the hardest time keeping my house clean and straightened. Does this happen to anyone else, or is it just me? Even little Brylee is such A MESS. haha.
Seems like every now and then my house gets to the point that I am so overwhelmed I don't even know where to start. And then I get super discouraged. So, one of my BIGGEST New Years goals was to always keep my house manageable. It doesn't have to be perfect all the time, but so I don't ever get overwhelmed like that again, that is the Worst Feeling Ever! I have to say that for the most part I have been doing pretty good. I am a bit more of a nag now though, haha. 
I do have a few favorite cleaning tools though. I have bought all these within the last year and they make cleaning so much easier and not as painful!



 My swiffer sweep-vac. Our house is all hardwood on the bottom floor, so this is soo nice to have. It doesn't pick up any big things, but it is still one of the best inventions ever.

I seriously dislike cleaning the toilet, so these are A-MAZ-ING. I love anything that you can clean with and then dispose of.

This is my FAVORITE! Rhett and I got this Shark Steam Mop on black friday. It was totally worth the 3 hour wait in line. I honestly use this baby every single day. LOVE IT!

I don't know if I am just like a freak or what, but I have to wash the dishes with gloves on. I get made fun of all the time, but seriously that is the only way my dishes get done. I have a really hard time washing off soggy food with my bare hands for some reason. But with gloves on I don't even bat an eye. But I used to go through a new pair of gloves every week because they would tear! It would make me soo mad. But then I found these puppies. They are just a little bit padded and haven't ripped yet!

Anyone else have some easy cleaning tips!?!

My New Laundry Room

I have the most amazing husband EVER! A few weeks ago Rhett redid my whole laundry room! I had been saying for months that I wanted risers for my washer and dryer so finally Rhett made a trip to Home Depot to get the supplies. But right before he got to building I changed my mind and decided that I wanted a folding table instead. I am soo glad I decided on the table instead! I LOVE IT! I no longer have laundry piled up on our bedroom floor, or socks stuck behind the washer and dryer. (: YAY!

And then he also built all these nice shelves! I need to organize them better though, it looks a bit messy.

I am soo blessed to have such a handy husband. He is so amazing! He has also been building shelves in all our storage closets and in our master closet. I feel like our house is getting more and more organized, it feels wonderful! What a talented man I have.

Since we moved in to our new house I seriously have not framed one single picutre! So today Tacey and I sat down and chose a few pictures to put in frames.

So when you live in the North Pole (actually Rexburg) you have to get creative. These past couple weeks it has been in the negatives with a wind chill on top of that. But we still have fun!

And one day I got a little crazy and decided to move beds and toys around. So now the girls are sleeping in a different room and this is their new playroom! I love not having toys in their room. Anytime this room gets a little messy I just shut the door, haha.

5 Years Baby!!

That's right, Rhett and I have been married for 5 Years!!! Our anniversary was actually on the 4th. It was so nice. Cody and Laura took the girls overnight for us. It was the first time I had ever really been away from Brylee and probably only like the second or third time from Tacey. Luckily I knew they were in great hands! Rhett and I hardly ever get to go out just the two of us so it was amazing. We went to Olive Garden, a movie, stayed up late talking, and then slept in. I loved it!
We have been through so much these last 5 years. 11 moves, 2 rough pregnancies, being apart for almost a year, graduating. But I can honestly say it has been the most amazing, best five years of my life. Rhett makes me so happy. I love how honest we can be with eachother. I love how he is the one person in the world that can always make me feel better. He makes me feel so confident and beautiful, I love it(: Rhett makes me always want to be a better person, he is such an amazing example. I love how he teaches by example and is never pushy (I am so dang stubburn), he is seriously my PERFECT match. I don't know what I would do without him. I go to bed so thankful every night, I am soo greatful to have such an awesome man.

Brylee's Party

Brylee's Birthday was so much fun. We had lots of family drive such a long ways to come and visit, it was so fun to see everyone. Thanks to everyone who came! Brylee loved all the attention and was so spoiled.

On another note, Brylee had her 12 month check up this week. It really was not a very fun appointment, she had 5 shots, I swear it is as painful for me as it is for her, ugh. But it's always fun to see how much she has grown. Her new stats are:

HT: 27.5" 10th percentile

WT: 19 lbs 10 oz 20th percentile

Haha, I was starting to think that she looked tall, but it looks like she is a bit of a shorty.

While we were out of town everyone around us seemed to be sick, so when the girls came down with a cold I wasn't too surprised. Except for that after their colds went away they had this rash all of a sudden show up. So at Bry's check up I showed the DR. Turns out they had a strain of strep not colds, which turned to into scarlet fever(which is where the rash came from). So crazy, I didn't even know people got that anymore. And they weren't even that sick, it was the weirdest thing.

Brylee Gene is turning 1!!!

I can't believe how fast a year goes by! I am seriously having a hard time with it. Where did my baby go?? But on the other hand she is growing up to be such a special little girl. One of her most special gifts is being able to make people smile. I love that about her. She is so much fun. Tacey and Brylee have always been close, but in the last few months they have grown to be best friends. That has been one of the funnest things to watch. Right now Bry is only taking 5 or 6 steps at a time, but gets bored and goes back to crawling. She is talking a little bit, she says Mama, Daddy, Brybry, go, more, and a few other small words. Kisses are her favorite right now. She loves giving, receiving, and blowing kisses. I Love It! She likes to be to bed by 8 or else she makes us all pay. Another one of my favorite things she does is clap when she is proud of herself. Like when she is standing or walking she is clapping the whole time. It's so cute. I could seriously go on and on about what a cute wonderful baby she has been but I'll stop here.

Early Merry Christmas!!

Last night after dance class and grocery shopping I promised Tacey that we would go look at some Christmas lights on our way home. I thought I would quickly drive through one of the neighborhoods close to our house. But as I was turning around at a dead end I got the car stuck! Seriously, I can't believe I got our car stuck. So I pick up my cell phone and try to call Rhett to have him come help me and it says my cell phone has been disconnected....what the heck! Luckily I had the stroller in the trunk. So I loaded that girls in the stroller and we headed home in 30 degree weather at 7:30 at night. This was about a mile walk, which normally would not be that bad, except for that the girls are wearing jackets, not coats, and Tacey is in her dance clothes. But I think the girls seriously had some fun, they got to see the christmas lights up close! haha. Brylee didn't start crying until the end, her poor hands were soo cold. Anyways this super sweet guy stopped and gave me a reflector to put on the stroller. Everytime a car would come I would hurry and throw the stroller into the snow off the side of the road cause seriously no one could see us. But I am happy to say We Made It Home Safe!
When I get home I have a surprise waiting for me!

Rhett had just bought me this little beauty as my early Christmas Gift. Which explains why my phone wasn't working and had been disconnected. Great Timing Right, haha.
Anyways, this is the coolest phone ever! (Droid 2) I absolutely Love It!! Thanks Rhett for the awesome Gift.
